b. 1987. From Mexico City, Mexico. David Marquez is a Mexican cinematographer, photographer, post producer, and color corrector. He received his Bachelor degree in Mexico city from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2009 and has established a career in the film industry in Mexico City. He is best known for his work with film and multiple exposures and has photographed numerous commercial, fiction, animations, and documentaries projects for the production company 6pm Films among others creative companies. Some of his projects have been in the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival and Morelia Film Festival, winner of the Eco film Festival in Mexico City for the documentary "Con el Tiempo". He currently lives in Sweden after graduating from his M.F.A. in Cinematography at UCLA. His most recent documentary "Águilas" received a Jury Award for Documentary Shorts at SXSW 2020 among several other awards and festivals.
